HAWTHORN TEA RECIPE
Hawthorn Iced Tea easy to make. It has a unique tangy fruit flavor that goes great with any meal.
You will need:
2 1/2 ounces dried Hawthorn berries (70g)
6 cups of water (1.4 L)
1/4 cup of sugar (50 g)
Rinse dry berries, place to the medium size pot and add water. Bring to a boil. Turn the heat down to a simmer and cook for 45 minutes. Turn the heat off, and add the sugar, stirring until dissolved.
Allow to cool completely. Strain through cheesecloth or fine-meshed strainer. You can serve it with ice in hot summer day or drink warm in winter.
