Formulated over 800 years ago in China, Jade Windscreen formula was created for protection against airborne pathogens common during cold/flu season. 
Particularly useful for people who always get sick often and tend towards the worst versions of whatever pathogen is going around (common cold to bronchitis, etc.) – often needs to be taken for many months, ideally during a period when they are not sick.

Astragalus root (Huang Qi) is considered the most effective immune tonic herb.
Atractylodis Rhizome (Bai Zhu) has been studied for its positive effects on its inflammation response (most notably, lowering the inflammation response).
Siler Root (Fang Feng) enhances the ability of our bodies to fight against airborne pathogens.
DOES RESEARCH SUPPORT JADE DEFENDER?
In controlled clinical trials, Yu Ping Feng San is shown to strengthen the body’s immune defense function in the respiratory tract in people who have chronic respiratory conditions, or individuals who are susceptible to viral invasions.
In a research from 2013, published in the journal PLOS One, this ancient Chinese herbal decoction was studied for its influence on the immune system, specifically cytokines*. Yu Ping Feng has been successfully applied in clinical settings for its antiviral and anti-bacterial effects.
