The Five Flavors Tonic gives an energy boost, relieves drowsiness, improves mental activity, reduces depressive moods, as well as improves physical strength and endurance.
Indications for use:
Low energy, irritability, palpitations, blurry vision, dizziness, tinnitus, blood insufficiency, chronic cough and wheezing, excessive sweating (especially when accompanied by thirst or a dry throat), spermatorrhea.
Schisandra chinensis (Wu Wei Zi) fruit is also called magnolia berry or five-flavor-fruit. It is a vine plant native to forests of northern China, the far east of Russia, and Korea. Before entering the taiga, the hunters of the Far East (where Schisandra grows wild), ate a handful of medicinal berries and could follow the trails of beasts all day without feeling fatigued They also began to see better at night.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Wu Wei Zi ranks second after Ginseng.
Many centuries ago in China, Schisandra was even included in the list of taxes that were necessarily paid to the Emperor.
100g of Schisandra berries contains a daily dose of vitamin C, a lot of vitamin P, beta-carotene, vitamin E, pectin, minerals, essential oils, and citric acid. Studies have shown that the fruits contain a special substance – schizandrin. It is a natural stimulant of the human central nervous system. Unlike other stimulants, its action is not accompanied by depletion of nerve cells.
Schisandra is used as an “adaptogen” for increasing resistance to disease and stress, energy, and physical performance and endurance. It also quickly restores vital energy, strengthening the overall tone of the body.

Goji berry plants are native to Asia, particularly China where they are grown in both the northern and southern regions. Goji berries has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 2,000 years. 28 grams of dried goji berries contains:
- 7510 IU vitamin A (134 % of daily value)
- 14 milligrams of vitamin C (25 %)
- 12 milligrams iron (10 %)
- 18 amino acids
- unsaturated fatty acids, including alpha-linolenic acid and linoleic acid
- beta-carotene, zeaxanthin, lycopene, cryptoxanthin, lutein and polysaccharides

Drug interactions:
Enhances the effect of psychostimulants and analeptics (including caffeine, camphor, phenamine). It is a physiological antagonist of the hypnotic action of drugs that depress the central nervous system (including barbiturates, tranquilizers, antiepileptic, sedatives, neuroleptics).
