Smooth, slightly sweet, and fragrant, Glintwein is a German/ Austrian drink that can help you to stay warm and relaxed after cold exposure. Great for surfers, sailors, and skiers!
INGREDIENTS:
Dried oranges
Dried apples
Cinnamon
Raisins
Cardamom
Nutmeg
Dried Lemon peel
Cloves
Brown sugar (individual packets)
Caution: Since you drink this wine warm, the alcohol goes to your head extra quick!

DIRECTIONS:
Heat up 1,5 L (2 bottles) of red wine, using a microwave or stove top. Bring it to boiling point and immediately down to a simmer. Afterwards, add spices from the package and mix well. Simmer for 15-20 min. Drain. Pour into cups or a jar. Add more sugar, Rum, Amaretto, and slices of orange or pears for taste.

A true classic for the winter time. Nothing beats it when you get cold. In Europe it’s sold at any place in ski resorts. Pity they don’t have it here, but it’s super easy to make with this kit. I love it!
